I want to get new wheels for my car.
I want to get one is 17x8, offset is 30
However, I am not sure if it is too wide.
I want to get the tires are 215/50/17 or 215/45/17.
I am also thinking if 215/50 is too large and if it touchs the body.

Thanks for any suggestion

My car is 95 Celica ST

woo, 20" is too large for me anyway...
What size of tires are you using on your 19" rims?
Also about the offset, do you mean if I use 17x8, I need to put it more far away from the center of the car?
If the offset is more positive, the inside of the rim may touch my car. I need more negative but I am not sure what number is the limit.

Thanks for your help!!!

19" is a big jump for me.
I am using 14x6 now, you know that 17" is already much better for me.
I ordered 17x8 but they said they didn't my car so they refused to sell them to me. ???
Last week, I got 4 17x7 for 290 shipped. They doesn't look too bad but they must made in China or Tawain. I am looking for tires now, looking for 215/45/17. Any good idea?
