<font color='#000000'>'planning on putting a Tekniq Snap-off steering wheel as a theft deterrent on a 5th gen. I need tips/advices on safely removing the airbag/steering wheel unit. Has anyone done it? TIA....</font>

<font color='#000F22'>its very easy actually, on the side of the air bag part u will find 2 hex bolts under a pop out cover remove them go to the other side and find 2 more.then pull out the air bad assembly. there is a plug there remove this. its a tricky plug so understand how it works before pulling... lol theres a trick to it but i dont remmember what it was. theres also going be to be about 10 foot of wire with it u could actually throw the steering bad into the back of the car without dissconnecting it. lol once u get it dissconnected theres a 19mm bolt right in the center of the wheel remove this the steering wheel will still be very tight and not want to come off u can buy a steering wheel puller to get it off, or sometimes u can pull and shake it very hard at the same time to get it free.</font>
