I actually went ahead with the purchase today because after thinking about it for a few days, it really isn't going to cost me very much... (Older brother owes me $300, I have a $600 cheque that I haven't cashed from a while ago, and I have the rims/tires from my Celica to sell)

Marijke,
I absolutely LOVE the stock RX8 rims, they are one of the nicest rims i've came across... But they are stock and every RX8 owner has them aside from the cheap-o models with 16's on them... I can literally sell my stock RX8 rims for more money than what I am paying for the new rims. (A buddy here just got more money for his stock RX8 wheels, than I am paying for these wheels while they are on sale)

Doug,
Like most people, I would have went with Silver... Silver unfortunately was not available in these sizes at the moment, so I decided I would try something different... I've always liked Gold Rims on White cars, aswell as World Rally Blue STI's, so I figured i'd give them a shot... If I end up not liking them all that much, its really not a big deal to sell them to someone else and buy a new set in a little bit...

I've always loved 6-spoke rims and obviously rims with a lip on them, so these suit me quite well.

Zack,
You're french, and have a TRD badge on only one side of your car, your opinion doesn't matter here lol jk... I certainly don't expect everybody to be feeling the rims, just like I don't particularly like the rims I see on alot of other people's cars... But again, you're french, so maybe i'll just paint them red, white and blue with a little yellow star on there and then you'll have a hard on over them
jk

I'm not really a fan of the center caps on these rims, they are fine I guess, but if the stock Mazda ones fit, they will be going in there in place of them lol...

I bet it will look pretty good when they are actually mounted on the car and mspaint-chopped on there. It looks a lot better in the first picture than it does in the second; must be the color differences or something.

Hmmm, I like it much more in the 2nd picture than in the first one... LOL
I made another picture from the side, but it doesn't do much for me lol...

I only had one set of photos to work with... From a Nissan Silvia.... lol

This is what the rear will end up looking like, but with a nicer tread pattern (IMO)

Hey man! It's Donnie's fault he only gave me one TRD emblem. Any I speak better English than most Miramichiers anyway. I actually wonder what an Acadian themed rim would look like. Probably suck really bad now to think of it. Especially spinning lol.

Don't encourage him. Your not helping. lol

I kinda read this a bit late. I actually heard first hand about your rims rather than read it on the boards lol.

I like them having only 5 holes instead of the ones with a bunch of fitments like the ones you were looking at before. Can't wait to see how they actually turn out on the car.

Nice lip too.

The pictures shown on the website had the dual-fitment holes actually... But after seeing the rims on a few cars on the net, I was pretty sure they would arrive as just 5-holes instead of 10... Didn't really matter to me but I like 5 a little more lol.

Got a little bit bored and started working with my trusty old MS Paint again.

I thought the 215/35-18's on my brother's Sonata looked a bit odd without a drop... (Skinny Elastic-band tires on this size of a car lol)

Sooo, I made my rims a little more how i'd prefer them (bigger lips) and made his fit a little more accordingly (Widened the tire, the lip and lowered the Sonata)

LOL dude, it takes barely any time whatsoever to do what I did here... But i've been tinkering with MS Paint for years lol...

Only thing I could ever use PS for was smudging, blurring and changing colors/shades of things lol... I wish I still had it lol.
