Ok before I go delving into this I need some input. On my old Mazda 626 the MAF sensor was mounted in the tube that goes from the intake manifold to the airbox, so all I had to do was unsnap the tube from the airbox and put a cone air filter on the end of it.

Well I'm installing a hoodscoop this weekend and I want to make it functional. What I need to know is how you guys usually go about doing this. I mean what do I do with the MAF since it is obviously mounted on the airbox. Also is the intake manifold perfectly round to fit a pipe over?

Ok, let me rephrase this. Does anyone have a picture of a 3sfe engine in a 4th gen Celica GT with the intake tubing off showing the intake manifold?
