As title, have just inherited a 1982 Celica Coupe. I think that makes it 3rd gen (apologies if not and I’m in the wrong place). It’s been in a shed for at least 10yrs. What do I do with it? Is there a market for these? Any help/advice gratefully received!

PS - I’m in the UK, in case that makes a difference.

Cool car! Is it a GTS? Liftback? Notch?

Have you driven it yet? It's sure not a common car, but the people who are familiar with them tend to be passionate about them. These are not super popular with the hot rodders; the 22R engine is not known as a performance beast, but more for its incredible durability. Despite the lack of raw power, these cars are still a blast to drive. Smooth, comfortable, great-handling and flat out fun to drive.

I'm just beginning the process of restoring mine, and so far I'm pretty challenged at finding some of the parts. If your car's in great shape, you could either enjoy the heck out of it, or put it up for sale. I bet you'd find a buyer fast!
