Hi, I was working on my brother’s 97 GT when I noticed the nipple of this plug was broken. First image is of the sensor the line runs to. Is there a specific part number for the broken bit in the second picture, or can someone at least tell me what it’s called? Thanks!

It's a filter. It protects the engine from damage in case of massive failure of the sensor. In your case, the first pic is a map sensor -used to tell the computer how much air is entering the engine (via vacuum measurement)

Thanks, would you know what to search to find that part that goes into the intake manifold? I searched for a Celica or 5sfe map sensor filter and nothing I found looks like what I see on the car.

Search fur vacuum filter. Depending on mfg month it could be
90917-11022 or 90917-11037
