I have cleaned the IACV and the MAF, I have a second celica i use for parts and i used both sensors from that car that i know 100% work as it used to be the car i drove but it has an engine problem, but still same issue, sometimes when i start it goes up to 3.2k roughly and sits there, i have a manual and when im moving and the clutch is in it does the same reving just takes longer to go up and down, can anyone give any suggestions? i am stuck, and its really bothering me, even if i have to tear the engine apart just to fix it i really dont mind i just dont really know what else to do and cant find anything, thanks

If revving up and down continuously, the computer is in idle hunt due to a vacuum leak. Plug the vacuum ports on the intake manifold one at a time until the idle settles down. Then investigate the hose or sensor on that hose.
