<font color='#8D38C9'>Thank you!! Thank you very much! FINALLY I had something over mR.J!!

See there is a method to my madness :suspect:

But seriously that's a good steal for a supercharger, thats almost the same amount to buy one for a little honda! (Or a vette.

<font color='#8D38C9'>Hey mR.J my friend and I were thinking of opening up a speed shop here in town....Because it appears that the shops here SUCK...Anyway, I have a celica my partner has a pony, (I know they SUCK!    ) you think there would be enough business here on the site to motovate people to buy from us as group buy....Because unlike other people, I'm a true blue celica guy, so I would try to get the part next to nothing....For celicas ofcourse. :glare: Anyway let me know here, or give me a IM on the site.  </font>

<font color='#000080'>Ticketboy,

In all honesty you would probably go out of business trying to sell to guys on this site.  Jhull tried getting a group buy for shift knobs and no one wanted anything except me. On newcelica.org you could probably do some business but those guys are cheap sometimes, the best way to sell stuff is to make stuff no one else has. That seems to be the most popular.</font>

I had no idea there was a turbo out for 7th gen... it says 2000 but it should still work for a 2001 right?  SO you know anything about prices or do I have to call em up?  Can you guesstimate about how much?  You are incredible (((HUG! )))

<font color='#000000'>

I'd watch yourself with the turbos.  It's not a kit you just pop in and there's been lots of problems with them.</font>

<font color='#8D38C9'>Thanks for the concern CC.  I would def NOT install it myself, I'd have it done professionally... why what have you heard about problems with the Turbo?  Is it to do with the turbo itself or the 7th gen celicas?  Plus it's not like I have the money to do it right now, I can only afford to do small accessories/ visual mods at the moment.  :(</font>

<font color='#000000'>I've been watching all the celica boards cause I really want to turbo my car, but I think I've decided against it.  Jhull is a good person to PM about that, he can explain it to you in "professional" detail.  From me it would be second hand.  He also could probably get you a deal on parts.

Yesterday I brough my celi to get check out with I'm furious about, but that's another story.  This guy is on the newcelica site so he has a 7th gen also, with NOS   There's alot of newcelica people here in NJ, NY and PA, I'm going to a meet on the 28th.  There are turbos on some, but most have NOS, some have both  </font>

<font color='#8D38C9'>Okay thanks a lot hun, I'll try and find JHull to talk to about this...  I'd love nos but I don't think I'll ever have enough money to do both nos and turbo plus all the other stuff I'd like to get done...

<font color='#000000'>I know I'm not here very much but, I try to get on when I can...
Let me see if I can answer some questions:

1. To turbo a celica it isn't extremely difficult but it is expensive, you just need a good turbo kit.  If you plan on going past 220 whp plan on spending quite a bit of money buying parts to strenghthen your engine, tranny etc.

2. The GT is a lot easier to Turbo then the GTS because of VVTL-i (there is some computer problems that haven't been figured out yet)

3. TRD Matrix/Vibe supercharger will not fit in the Celica GT without modifing your hood somehow.  Also the price will be roughly $3500 installed and was scheduled to be released this year.

4. Meryem13: I think Celica Chick meant to say "Yesterday I brought my celica to get checked out, which I'm furious about"

How'd I do??</font>

<font color='#8D38C9'>HE'S BACK!!!! MR J!!! HIIIIIIII!  Okay, I'm sorry I just got a bit over excited... til I read your post... You did good J

damn... I have a gt-s, and I'm not big on money right now.  Maybe I'll just do all the other mods I want and then do the turbocharge afterwards when I might have some cash for it and they might have thise vvtl-i computer problems fixed.  My only problem is that I want a performance chip by Jet and they have two kinds.

"The difference between the v-force and the ecu upgrade is that the v-force would be for mild modifications, air intake, or exhaust. The more modifications you do, the more beneficial the ecu upgrade would be as they are all programmed per the specific application and the modifications that have been done."

So I thought I'd do the ecu upgrade but I don't think I can get all the stuff done soon and I'd like some more power now.  Mybe I can get the v-force instead since all I have is exhaust and intake... do some more visual mods and the get the ecu chip when I have more money for the turbocharger and other things... unless I can just keep sending the ecu back in everytime I get a mod done.  Hmmm, I'll have to ask about that.

I don't know what other performance related mods I can do, any ideas would be appreciated, plus how they'll make me go faster.
   Thanks a bunch!</font>

<font color='#000000'>If you want easy power, the best thing you could do is put nitrous in it.  It's cheap and can be installed fairly easily but make sure you know what you are doing.

Personally I would save up and do everything at once.  I haven't done any performance mods yet but I have done some interior things that I've wanted to get done.  Just make sure you have a vision of what the whole car will look like when you're done and you should be ok!

Apex-i safc would be a good route to go if you want to do the computer stuff while buying intake/exhaust/headers/etc. that way you can adjust it depending on what you've done.

I plan on going with the Blitz supercharger, it puts out quite a bit of power and I won't need to do any internal work, worry about maintenence on a turbo, computer problems, and it is a pretty straight forward install with all the necessary parts.

Here's a link if you want to know more about the Blitz system: Blitz

Let me know if I can help anymore
