i am now looking for a 1970-77 celica coupe. the only ones i am finding are 77 coupes. i am asking if anyone knows if the chrome bumper i guess off of the st's will fit on the gt coup's with the black bulky bumper.
i like the chrome a lot better than the black one.

a mate of my flatmate has a 77 which he's put a 1JZ (pretty sure its 1jz) from an old supra. single huge turbo.

got it dyno'd the other day. pulled 190kw (~260hp) at the back wheels i know thats nothing too extrodinary for a turbo 1j  but the part that makes it interesting...... his clutch is roasted and is slipping like hell. so 190kw with a slipping clutch. cant wait to see it once he gets a decent clutch in it.

it goes like stink as it is now but it will rocket w/ decent clutch. he expects it should be pulling about 260kw at the wheels..</font>
