Exhaust gas temperature sensor 89425-20190 replacement

Hello,

Exhaust gas temperature sensor on my lovely 3SGTE engine has failed and I struggle to find a replacement. Unfortunately the original sensor 89425-20190 is obsolete. I am told that the sensor was replaced with 89425-43010, so tried to find this one, but no joy either. Have scrutinized a lot of drawings of other toyota engines and got feeling that 89425-12280 sensor, which is still available, might suit. I've tried to get a technical advice from Toyota, but they are not very helpful. Does anybody have expertise to advise please?

From what I can see, the 89425-20190 is a Nippondenso manufactured Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor for the EL41 code type. The 89425-12280 is a Matsushita manufactured Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor for the EL41 code type. So from what I can tell, the only difference between the two sensors is the manufacturer. They should otherwise be identical. See the application tables below, which indicates a variety of models with the same manufacturing date range interchange between these two part numbers. I'm not guranteeing anything, just stating what the information I'm finding says.
