Ok, here's my question. I have a 1987 Celica Gt Convertible... He's white with a black top. Anyway, he's got a black strip, the rail gaurd or something... I probably spelled it wrong but oh well. He's going to get repainted pearl white this summer and get some extra body work done on him, but I wanted to know if that could come off. If it can, what do I have to do and will it be a pain in the long run. I just dont like the look of it. Any advice? Any answers? THANX!!

u mean the peice that goes around the car that protects it if doors hit it? well yeah u can take that off but then they would need to do body work to smoothen it out if it is indented... but if it isnt take it off sand it to smoothen it out and paint it.. i would rather just paint over it that way it still protects your car
