I have the triangle emblem, so these won't work but I appreciate the help

Right on, thanks so much! The shop was a nightmare to deal with, I feel lucky to have gotten my car back running. The last few days it was there the owner was gone, so I let him know personally that the emblem (along with sunglasses) were missing when I picked it up. I doubt they'll do anything about it; but that empty space is killing me.

If you go to www.car-part.com, you can look up salvage yards that have certain parts you might need, perhaps they may be local to you. An emblem is a very small item, so it is not typically listed. But given hoods are bigger and are of higher value, those would be listed. So if you look up hoods for a 1983 Celica, you will find many salvage yards saying they have hoods to sell. You would have to ask if you could just buy the emblem only. Some may not want to do that, others will. You'll just have to work through those that have hoods for a 1983 Celica.
