You are only as good as your last service, and my much-loved Celica has just been put through a £1800 service and MOT pass at a Toyota main dealer. Second Toyota service in a row, after 6 years in the hands of a local enthusiast, mechanically this car will want for nothing for a while.

Even before this latest service, everything works on the car. It starts on the button, first time even in the middle of deep winter with ice on the screen. All the buttons work. The engine still howls like a tiger above 5000 rpm yet purrs like a domesticated car at lower revs, when you can drive it around town like your gran’s Corolla.

I did not have to add any oil in 6 months. It is a low mileage car for me, as my second car, but handled the odd long drive as well as the mostly local drives I used it for.

I won't entertain offers miles away from the asking price. Deserves to go to a good home.

Very clean interior, no rips. Two keys.

Genuine reason to sell due to change in job, and needing a more sensible long-distance car.

Honest private seller.
