93 has a knock sensor, so if you are keeping the ecu and harness, you are limited to 92 and later. The 5sfe block can be found in many cars, but bolt hole fitment matches Celica thru 99.

As you get into 6th gen etc, heads and accessories change. So, if you are seized, then you should replace just the block.

Suggest pulling the head, sending it out for rebuild. Pull the block from the replacement, and send it out. Then put it all together.

But since you are pulling the head, you'll get a good look at what is seizing the block, and can make a decision on just having it rebuilt , no need for donor.

On block rebuild, be sure to use Toyota matched bearings , not a stock rebuild kit.
