‘77 RA29 Liftback for sale in SoCal.
Original California car, purchased from original owner in May of ‘22. 67k shown on the clock, original owner stated it has only turned over once. Sat under a carport in SoCal from December of 2004 until May of ‘22.
Just passed California smog December 17th, registered through December ‘23.
All new:
Tires, brakes, KYB struts and shocks, tie rod ends, NOS pitman & idler arms, sway bar bushings and end links.
Wheel bearings packed. New trans. mount and u-joints.
New radiator, water pump, thermostat, hoses, belts. New windshield, windshield rubber, and rear window rubber. Have the OG rear window louver, rear window trim, and some other miscellaneous resto. parts I have not yet installed.
Fresh cylinder head, timing chain, oil pump, catalytic converter, recent clutch. Engine runs strong, trans. shifts good. Fresh Redline in the trans; Lucas in differential.
Dipped and coated fuel tank, new fuel pump, fuel filter, hoses, carburetor. All new tune up parts including distributor vacuum advance, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires.
THIS IS NOT A GARAGE QUEEN.
Original paint has some patina/minor surface rust on hood and roof. THERE IS NO CANCER. Car has never been hit and/or repaired. There are minor dents on the fenders and right door. Driver’s seat upholstery is junk, dash needs an ABS cover, headliner is in it but is shrinking and needs replaced. One of the center dash vents is broken. Needs both rubber shift boot and leather exterior boot. Carpet is original and not great by any means.
Remainder of interior is solid and pretty nice.
This thing runs and drives pretty damn good. I have put about 1000 miles on it in recent weeks. I would not hesitate to get in it and drive it New York and back.
