1977 Celica GT Liftback. 130k on the clock. This car was in the same family since day one, sitting in a garage since 2008. Body is solid as a rock, paint appears to be 100% original, no rust or bondo. Currently going through the mechanicals as I bought it to be a weekend driver for my daughters.
Engine is strong, currently receiving all new cooling system starting with a re-cored OEM Radiator, water pump, hoses, belts, etc; fuel system freshening including tank cleaning, new pump, carburetor rebuild, etc.
In addition to the cooling system; engine, trans; rear end, brake and clutch hydraulics will be fresh. Fresh ignition parts (cap, rotor, plugs, and wires), valve adjustment, fuel and air filters, new battery and cables, etc.
Brake and suspension hard parts will be checked and replaced if even remotely marginal. I spare no expense or effort on my vehicles making them road worthy. I currently have way too many nice vehicles, my daughters both have projects in addition to their drivers, so this one is going to go at some point soon.
Car is filthy as shown in pics, a few days after I rolled it out of its tomb. After I complete the mechanicals I will bring the paint back to life, but have a feeling it will clean up well.
Car is in the Redlands, California area and will be ready to be seen in 3-4 weeks. I have a crazy career so just have to find a little time. Looking for cash offers, no trades. Car will be smogged and tagged at time of sale.
