Purchased in 2018 with 237,000 miles dirt cheap and not running. Needed an alternator. Pulled one from a 94 Camry and used voltage regulator and brushes to rebuild the original. Had an issue with stalling at operating temperature and not restarting for hours. Trouble code 14. Ran through Toyota Service Repair Manual online and determined the coil inside the distributor was shot. Replaced distributor with new one and now no stalling issues. Now runs smooth with lots of torque and really fun to drive.
