Hey all, I took over my Celica from my friend and have been going through it to bring it back to health. Most of the problems I have taken care of, but the Airbag light is always on. My friend said it started doing that after she had the turn signal arm replaced. In my manual it says "see a dealer" but I was wondering if anyone knew how to reset it? I am just afraid of getting a face full of airbag. Thanks,

Derek

if your air bag light is on then there is a problem in the system, it could be a major problem or something stupid like a dirty connector, if your light is on then your airbags may not work.

if you decide to check it out self then make sure that you let the back up charge in the system dissipate by leaving the battery disconnected for a min or two before you start messing around with the SRS system.

trying to fix an airbag light is better left to a trained mechanic.

Sorry, this is probably too late for you, but for the benefit of future inquirers, this link (http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/sk...044_90_celica2) takes you to a factory service bulletin on how to reset the airbag ECU code 41.
