It's getting spark, but it's not
Hey guys, I'm currently having with my 1993 Celica (4AFE engine). Few months ago, the car decided to not start, so I came to find no spark. I bought a new distributor... no spark. Today, I checked up on the connections to see if I'm getting voltage, but the weirdest thing happened.
When I unplugged the ACV connector, the distributor starts to make a clicking sound. It was coming off of the ignition coil, and I verified that with the tachometer and getting shocked when I place a screwdriver near it. However, when I crank it, it stops. Stop cranking, and the coil goes off. I think there's a shortage between the ignition and the ACV connector. Any other suggestions?
