Default Exhaust downpipe for 1979 GT coupe

The downpipe on my 1979 coupe has cracks around the pipe where it meets the flange right where it attaches to the exhaust manifold. I can't find replacement downpipes anywhere. (There are two pipes actually, which merge into one bigger one, which goes to the cat. Both pipes have cracks around the circumferenes where they attach to the flange)

I've been told by a Toyota tech that the flange would warp if welded (MIG?) Another indy shop tech said they could do it. I've had exhaust pipes on airplane engines successfully welded in that area, without much warping (although I had to use "blo-proof" gaskets as a result)

Failing that, the only solution I see is to get a header (plenty of those around, but then I still need a pipe to connect to the cat.) Also, my exhaust manifold is not that old, and a header would only serve to replace it. Any other solutions out there?

Is there any source of aftermarket exhaust parts out there?
