<font color='#000000'>'89 Celica GTS hb. Power door locks only work properly (from inside or out, both sides)when only the driver's door is fully wide open. Any other position of the driver's door and operation of interior door lock buttons is very sporadic and won't work at all from the outside keylocks.
I assume it is a kinked or problem wire in the wiring bundle between the driver's door and the body because only the slight movement inwards of the door makes the difference between perfect operation and none. Before I remove the rubber cover and go hunting in the wire bundle, could anybody advise which colour wire would control the power door locks? Thanks.</font>

Default Power door lock problem

You can possibly inspect the wiring and the rubber boot that connects with the door frame and the door can usually reveal the wiring damage. With the help of a voltmeter, you can check the voltage of lock solenoids and switches. Calling in an experienced auto locksmith can easily resolve your power door lock problem

I have first checked both the wiring and the rubber boot but there is no problem there, then i hired experts from locksmith nyc near me who then helped me out in repairing the wire.
