Exclamation Will these Rims & Tires Fit My 2000 Toyota Celica GT?

Hi, I've come across a used set of rims and tires and I was wondering if they would fit my 2000 Toyota Celica GT?

RIMS:
Ikon
18" x 8.5
Offset 42

TIRES
Ziex
225 40 18

Some concerns:
1) Will the tires rub against the wheel wells during sharp turns?
2) Is this rim too big with low profile tires is there potential for the rim to bend easily? ie pot holes

p.s. Since I have drum brakes at the rear I tried to avoid open concept rims because frankly the rim drum looks like crap no matter what rim you have. I like the Black/Chrome Machined look and they will hide that ugly rear drum. What do you think?

They should fit. You can google wheel fitment calculator and insert the dimensions and it will tell you for sure.

Also I wouldn't be too concerned about the drums showing in the back. You can always get a conversion kit for disc brakes. I know Monkey Wrench Racing has a few available on their site. I would get the rims that you think work and look the best. I still have drums and I put 17 x 7 EV5 rims on mine, it doesn't look that bad and I'm working to get the disc conversion for the back wheels.
