that's definitely ur flex pipe. the cat doesn't look anything like that. anyways, it not a big problem til you go get ur car inspected, you won't pass inspection if your county has emission laws. but you will notice that you exhaust sound beefy. if it sounds beefy then you have exhaust leak and it will eventually rot through the floor of the car. eventually meaning 1-2 maybe 3 years

i live in PA and im up for inspection in November so i guess ill find out lol hopefully not b/c i cant afford to fix more stuff on this car..ne way i did notice in the winter since u can see the exhaust when it's really cold that underneath right in that area air coming out from that flex pipe/catalytic converter area so i guess thats why maybe it already has rotted or started to rot through sad.gif but i dont notice the sound as much maybe a little b/c of my intake oversounds that..

true. by the way it should only cost like $60-$100 on the repair. it could even be $25 depends on whether they can repair or they have to replace and how much part would cost.

Ebay has some cheap flex pipes for sale, but I don't know if they'd be the right length for you.

be suspicious, cause they tend to have a fee for people who don't know what they're paying for.
