worldwidechance Member Join Date: Jan 2013 Posts: 1	Spun rod bearing... Full rebuild? I am getting ready to buy a 2000 celica gts that has a spun rod bearing. The guy im buying it from rebuilt it a year and a half ago and the rebuild only has 1800 miles on it. I just want to get it going again so I can daily drive it. I am also on a tight budget. Should I go for the full rebuild (pistons, rings, new crank, new rod, water pump, oil pump,timing set) or could I just get away with a reman crank w/ oversize bearings and a new rod?
