Default plans for the weekend

Well after driving it for a week I'm satisfied with my purchase. This weekend I plan on changing the oil and tranny fluids. Ordered some Amsoil 5w-30 Signature series synthetic oil and some GL-4 Amsoil manual tranny and gear axle oil to get her some fresh fluids. The gears are stiff in 1st and 2nd when it's cold....prob never been changed. It's funny my grandad is old school and considers good oil and changing the tranny fluid a waste of money lol. Plan on cleaning the MAF too and doing a quick reset on the computer. I will be ordering a AEM CAI soon so I'm not gonna fool with the air filter as it is prob pretty dirty, though but not worth fooling with seeing as if it will go away soon. The screw that tightens the air box to the throttle body was completely loose so I'm sure cleaning is needed. I'm sure the car is going to appreciate switching to high end synthetic oils and a better reading on intake airs. I'm trying to calm myself....I have a tendacy to wanna upgrade out the ass. If you all clicked the link I provided you will see my last car how many mods were done, **** ol expensive addictive turbo game....although in the future I already see myself channging the lift rpms with a Power FC, I have also eyeballed a Greddy supercharger....must... resist... upgrades!! lol

So today I had my car sputter out at idle and cut off. When I got home I took the stock air box off and cleaned the MAF sensor and the throttle body. It was Dirty and the filter was really dirty. I immediately ordered my AEM cold air intake instead of wasting money on a new filter either a buddy of mine or I will post a short clip of the ticking noise tomorrow. I just assume it is normal to have a little valve ticking on a Toyota as my supra did it. But ill take suggestions or advice on getting rid of the ticking. Are the valves adjustable on the 2zz? Thanks peeps lovin the car

COld air intake installed today. It has a nicer throttle response. It's louder....some slight HP gain. I like it. Engine bay looks alot cleaner. Putting On the two front tires tomorrow.I also discovered today when it is cold the fuel bars can misread, learning more.

Default Cai

After driving the cai for a bit....really not a huge difference. Throttle response is a little better. There is a slight bog between 4-5000 sometimes. It is louder and maybe a tad more Hp in lift. Looks cool though. Got my 2 new front tires put on. Running Dunlop sp 8000 series on all 4 tires.
