I got a short ram on my 5 gen that was about 80 bucks.. I use short ram on cold days and on these hot summer Cali days I use my stock air box..
Celica Not my daily driver But I can tell the difference when i switch.. short ram with heat soak lowers Performance and gas mileage ..

yea some sharp shears and a clamp to help you bend it to shape should work.

Then leave the engine completely stock. If you ask us about this kind of thing then justify not needing it, it tells me that you don't really want to go fast. You are trying to keep up with the Jones'.

It could be sub zero outside and the 200 degree engine will still warm up the air that a short ram picks up.
