Oh wow. If you think about it. It'll cost you more if you keep refilling the oil >< then the rebuild heh

I usually get my parts from my friend in the toyota dealership. If you are in socal near glendora I can help you out but other then that you can start by just replacing the engine head seals/gasket.

If that doesn't fix the oil leaks then you can buy an aftermarket full engine rebuild kit. You would need to ask other people on here about. I am not sure how we'll and how long they perform. I wanted to try DNJ brand but I rather have the oem parts in my car lol especially when dealing with the engine.

The engine it self has no oil leaks, I thought i saw some smoke after a hard acceleration, I've done some freeway speeds ( 80 mph ) but didn't see smoke. I'm looking for it now. It's been cold here, so their is steam a lot of the times, which makes it hard to see lite blue smoke.
I'm now looking into other options, different engines, to rebuilds, to I'm even looking at a GTS close by, they want 8k and it's an auto trans. Not so sure about an auto trans?

Did you do a compression test of the engine? It may only have 1 bad cylinder.

Also, if the rings are done, it will only smoke until the pistons expand against the bores.

So i test drove a 01 GTS with an Auto yesterday, I could tell the difference between stick & auto even with the M controls on steering wheel (love that option) this one has 111k I would have done the deal but the guy was to proud of his price, (Dealer) so he can continue to look at it.
I still love mine, it seems to get up and go as good as that GTS, she's just an oil-aholic, so the plan is, is to deal with it till it starts getting warmer then i start riding my FJR everyday, then i will take her to a 12 step program ha ha ha.
Unless the Lottery pay's a visit ..

Talking Oil Consumption

My guess is your oil control rings are stuck. I just tore apart a 1zzfe with a drinking problem and all the oil rings were stuck. If my nephew hadn't ran it out of oil (it did have a problem...) and threw a rod bearing I think I could have fixed the oil problem by soaking the cylinders. See this post This fixed oil consumption in toyota 1ZZ-FE engine - Bob Is The Oil Guy
