Default O.K. what now????

Hey all, after spending all this money for new rear quarter windows to stop this leak, Guess what....I still have a leak!!!! The glass company took it back and looked at it and said they didnt know where it was coming from. Its leaking on the roof area drivers side, drips down onto the mounting bracket for the rear seat. So far I have removed the trim strip on the roof and laid a bead of seam sealer down in there and had the glass changed.
I am going to try removing the hatch and re-sealing the hinges as well as putting a new hatch seal in,any thing I may be missing let me know, also will be checking the one plug and wiring passage rubber on the hatch/body as well. Is any one else having this issue?? Mike

did you check the rubber part around the glass? if it too old they might cause a leak. also check if it closes all the way cuz sometime the trail/track got stuck over time and they dont close properly

Rubber part around the window costs 80.10 and has been ordered, but its not leaking from there, its leaking over the rear quarter window, will be looking at it tomorrow with a bit more ambition, am moving to Wash State next month and need it sealed or I might as well buy gold fish.

I found the leak around the drivers door, when the glass company put the weatherstripping back in they didnt put it back in right, and after many gallons of water I found that the rear glass is still leaking so its back to the shop tomorrow, I really need to get this fixed as i am moving to the ever rain state next week and dont want a fish bowl for a car.

oK EVERY ONE... crunch time!!! I just got off the phone with Toyota about the leaks we are experiencing in our 7th Gen's, the results...there is no recall for the situation...BUT... what we can do...ALL OF US...is call their hotline...1-800-331-4331..go through the number game with them and bombard them with complaints about the situation, the reference number is :1302262090. The lady I spoke with said that if we get enough people to call in they will submit a request to be sent in when they do their recall report and Toyota would then consider putting a recall out on all 7th gen's that are leaking, so spread the word on all forums and get those phones ringing !!!!! or we cn all just meet and swap ideas on how to make fish tanks with our Celi's....Mike...and yes I am bored...cant go out and have nothing better to do...

Remove the rubber plug in the floorboard...take interior apart and check to see where the leak is coming from....and buy guppies...they look the best imo...Mike
