Default Former rotary guy with quick question

Hello, i have been creeping about for a while and decided to register. I just had an offer for a Colorado titled '01 trade for my truck. Having trouble finding out what and if i will need to change anything for CA emissions. Anyone know where i can find this info? I don't mind looking but i would sure appreciate a point in the right direction. Thanks in advance from a hopefully soon to be Celica owner.

a smog shop should be able to tell you what the car needs. sometimes it wont need anything

I think its just cause we have more cars in a concentrated area but it really comes down to the state to decide.

It is mostly fundraising, but Cali just went apeshit on the emissions because of their environmentally unfriendly amount of blacktop and vehicles in general.

I do understand that a smog shop could help, what I am looking to do is get this information BEFORE I commit to the car. Smog shops, in my area at least weren't to keen on answering this question; I pretty much got a universal "Just bring it in". I appreciate thi suggestion though.

Your local Yota dealer will know this for sure.
