Exclamation Rotor seal?!?!?!? Need help! Working on it right now!!!

Hi Guys:

So I set out to change the rotors on a '03 Gt. Take the calipers out, and tap the rotor with a rubber hammer as I have done with all my other cars. The rotor won't come off, and there's a black nut-like thing at the center of the rotor. Is that the OEM seal? Should I just keep tapping it with a hammer?

I'm next to it right now and would appreciate some input...

Here's an image. I'm talking about the black "nut-like" thing on the middle of the rotor...

Still nothing, and that "black nut" seems to be holding the rotor down...

the axle nut is not holding it in. its rusted on so just keep hitting it or use those 2 holes and put bolts there. tighten them unit you here a pop. that should push it out.

Nevermind, just found out that Toyotas don't have rotor seals like Ford cars do...
Some light sledge hammering to be scheduled tomorrow

might as well spray some lube in there and let it soak overnight. good luck and let us know how it goes.

They were so tight that I had to use a 4 lb sledgehammer on them!!!
I had to hit them about 10-15 times each full throttle!!! WTH?!?!

Anyways.. All done, on to the next project! (Got stuff for like 10 of them )
