Default Rocker/cam cover question.

Hi

Just noticed that i had a bit of an oil leak around the rocker cover, so i presumed it was the gasket. In the process of replacing the gasket i noticed that the actual metal cover was cracked. Looks like the heating and the cooling of the engine has caused it as opposed to something smashing into it.

My problem is i have bought 2 other covers from 1.8 vvti 140 engines and the oil feeds are different from mine. you can see the difference in the pics below.

Bottom one is the original.

Is mine not original?
Are the 2 others not from Celicas?
Will i be ok to put this new one on?

Any assistance or advice would be greatful

Regards
Paul

If you mean the channels on the inside of the cover, the difference is most likely negligible
