Default engine light

engine light is on and gas is going down quick. I changed my oil a few weeks ago, rotated my tires, got new ball joints put on the front tires. I know its time to do a transmission flush. Any other ideas?

yea go get it checked out with an obd2. some auto store do that for free. rotating your tires and doing an oil change wont make the cel go on. if you say gas mileage is going down it could be a o2 sensor thats gone bad. only way to really tell is to get the code read.

there might be 2 on your car. mainly in the exhaust manifold and or right before or after the cat. its really easy to change but they can be a bit pricey.
