i got that kyrolon fusion stuff.. will i have to sand it before i do it? or just wash it throughly?

you don't have too. you may get a better result but cleaning it well should work fine.

i was also thinking about doing the plastic pannels under the hood. do you think i could do them with this paint? i prolly will sand it a little bit for a better finish. and i def am going to clean it alot

depends where the plastic pieces are. also look at the temperature rating on that. it should handle it fine. sanding it with very fine sand paper will just help the paint stick better.

The plastics are just over air its covering up the huge nothingness of the engine room lol so its not like its directly over or on the engine but it is in the hood so its prolly going to be hot. but ill test it out first before i do my dash or anything else. ill just do a little sample of plastic from the engine

i will! i wont be able to do anything till tomorrow cause i have to work and to much homework today lol and it says that the paint should be painted inbetewwen 50 and 90 degrees F so i hope that tomorrow its inbetween there cause its been pretty cold and rainy lately.

i did a test paint today with the kylron fusion stuff. it works pretty good. i just sprayed a little section of the engine bay plastics on the back of it. i tried sanding one section of it and then i did a section without sanding. the section with out sanding came out way better i think because i didnt have primer or nothing. but ill add a photo here in a bit see what you guys think of the color. i like it. its a more flat blue than a glossy blue. which i think is good for the engine plastics.

let me know what you guys think after i post it up here
