everything
you cant modify engine cause it will damage the tranny over time. aggressive driving heats up the tranny ( damage over time )
it's slower, more gas, heavier, more maintenance.
but its less of a pain in traffic

I have a 2000 manual and from what I have seen , heard and read the newer models from 03 up were better, dont get me wrong I love my car but they 1st ones had lots of baby problems as with any new car, still i feel that the 7th gen is the best looking of the entire line I.M.O that is. I would get the manual and just learn how to drive it, you will love it.If your not planning on doing a lot of mods to it an auto would get you by.
