Default Guys I need some info again

K so here's the thing, Yesturday I go to lock my bella up for the night and noticed that when hit the lock button on my fob, my lights didn't flash, so I knew my doors didn't lock, after going around and checking, it was my passanger side that didn't lock. I unlocked it and tried again, but it still didn't work. So i manually locked it for the night. Checking it out this morning same thing, but on my fourth attempt through the acutal power lock switch on the console it worked, but after that it didn't work. So after looking around I think I need a new door actuator.. is this difficult to replace? could I do it myself or should i have the dealer do it? Any advise is great advise thanks

take off the panel to inspect the actuator first. i thought i needed a new one but just turned out the connector on the wire snapped off. if you do need a new one you can do it yourself but it is possible to mess it up. if you think you are experienced enough try it. i would go to a place that installs alarms before going to the dealership. will be cheaper. good luck!

Thanks Garry, ya i called around to different wrecking yards for the part and the only way to get one is to buy the door for 250.00, but its cheaper then from the dealer they want 450.00 just for the part, then 1.5hrs labour. So i think I will have a friend of mine take a look at it first and see if it's just a connection problem. Hopefully it is If not then it looks like i'll be buying a door for the part. Thanks for the info though, i will be sure to have it checked first.

you can probably get a universal actuator too. will be cheaper although it may take some ingenuity to get it to fit correctly

Morning Ya I'm going to have it look at first, then if I need a new one I can get one pretty cheap now. I work in a wrecking yard in the office and my one of the companies I deal with said that If i need one they have a couple celi doors there that will work, they will take it out for me, at a really discounted rate Love the industry i work in. So now I just have to comfirm that I actually need it. Thanks for all you help you rock! Cheers
