Hey now. Don't shun him away from the celi awesomeness. Turbo for the most. Or, exhaust, intake, and injectors.

Unfortunately These cars have a serious problem in the hp dept.your not going to be making any serious hp with out throwing big bucks into the motor , if you go with blower or supercharger is your bottom end up to the extra hp?? Do you have a ECU to handle the extra hp?? Do you want lower end power ( supercharger) or top end power (Blower).I think that the GT-S produces enough power for the speeds that are allowed here. Many more questions that can be asked , take your time and do the research.Asking online on a site like this will net you a zillion answers all different and all aimed at people wanting you to build a car just like theirs. Good luck with what ever you do and post pics.

no offonse to anyone that mentioned it. but a Turbo at this point is just stupid. he has no need for it. go get some higher CC injectors and performance injector pump (or whatever the **** you call it on gas engines) get a high flow exhaust and intake system. do a general tune up with OEM spark plugs. take off the head and port and Polish it. get new valve springs/guides/valves/lifters/rocker arms maybe throw a slightly more aggressive cam in it. new head gasket. some head studs. then go for a Turbo.

Uhhm the problem is this car gets stomped stock by just about every thing out there , its pretty sad when a huge SUV rips you a new one coming off the line we all know what I mean so there is no use pretending that it doesnt happen , your stock Celica is no more powerful than mine so lets not pretend.

if i had 3000.00$ to play with i'd go get a totalled tdi jetta and throw that in there, 53 miles a gallon of diesel and it has way more power than the celica, least it feels like it does to me... especially if you have the manual and the parleys tuner
