Default 7th Gen GTS and GT Factory body Panels

Ok I am in the market to purchase either a GTS OR GT primarily for a commuter and gas saver. I do know the GTS has the bigget engine and all wheel disc brakes which only run on 93 octane. My question is are the body panels the same on the GTS and GT or does the GTS have a wider body than the GT?

Lol...they are the same. Look at the write ups...same wheel base same weight same everything. As far as choosing what one is for you , only you can answer that...go GTS and turbo it like so many people do and blow your motor up early , go GT and supercharge it and blow your motor up early...lol...every one will give you their lil bits and pieces but in the end its up to you. Build it the way you want it and not the way all these so called ricers want you to build it. I didnt fit into a certain web site cause I refused to have all these people telling me what to do with my car , at least they dont troll this site and do the same which I am glad about , there are are only a few and no one seems to take them serious....I put disc brakes on my GT as well as leather seats and a few other goodies and am happy with it . Good luck with what ever you do and welcome !!!!

Ok understood... Im purchasing the car for commuting and gas saving purposes only... I really not a speed freak but I have a GSXR 10000 crotch rocket and a BMW M3 convertible if I feel the need for speed! I drive a suv 25 miles one way and the gas bill is adding up! So I would rather go from 15mpg to 35miles per gallon with the GT version Im thinking... The GTS doesnt have as good mpg and takes premium only like my M3 convertible so I think my decision is made! I will lean on all you Celica gurus for that veteran experience and knowledge when I come across things with it...
Thanks
