I am looking for a celica. I am thinking about buying a stock celica and doing the trd body kit lowering the rear exhaust 18 inch black rims and black housing projector headlights
I f anyone has pics of your rides with similar setups Please post them. I am most considering red white or silver. I do not care whether it is gt or gts |

18's on a FWD car is stupid, it serves to grenade your wheel bearings quicker though in case you like doing that laborious repair.
Those large sedans you see with oversized wheels eat all kinds of bearings and suspension parts due to the stress those wheels put on the car. Imports are even less forgiving to that kind of mod.

My old man has an old saying for rims "Big for show, small for go." I have 17" on my 5th gen and they are to big. I just lowered my car and I have to have to keep my suppension settings on stiff so I dont rub.
Don't get 18" but find a good compromise. Depending on how much you want to lower your car, I think 16 with a slight drop is the way to go. If you dont plan on turbo then you might consider working on the engines air flow. Intake, header, cat-back. Less low end torque but better at higher RPMs + the most important thing...sounds bad ass |

i actually have a 2002 gt with quite a bit of trd work done. my 17" wheels give me no problem with a 2" lowering spring of course my tires are extremely low profile. i also have angel eye halos with the black back ground and they are definitely a nice accent but you have to put an hid kit or its terrible, i have the hid kit but i've seen one without the hid kit an it truly looks terrible. the trd body kit on top of a 2" drop looks amazing but you really have to be careful with bumpy roads and high driveways
