Hey guys, I'm a new member here and I'm looking to buy my first 2dr-car. This morning I checked out a 2002 Celica GT auto trans with 121+k miles on it with 2 previous owner and clean tittle. The car has intake, strut bar, wheels, spoiler, etc... It's a base GT, so no power window and no sunroof, and I forgot to check if it has cruise control
![]() The guy (owns a local auto sale) is asking for $6500 + tax, and tag initially. I make an offer of $5000, and he comes back at $6500 OTD. What do you guys think? Should I wait a couple of days to buy it at $6250 or should I continue looking for another car? Thanks for your input/opinions P.S: He told me that the timing belt has already replaced. |

Nice looking car , but...... Autos are limited to what you can do with them and are very sluggish....period.You will end up spending big bucks to get any power out of it. Look around like mentioned above there are lots of sweet deals out there you just have to look....good luck

Thanks for all the input, guys. I've heard the same input from newcelica forum as well. And I've learnt that Celica doesn't need timing belt, that lying ******* told me the car has the belt changed
![]() So I'm back to car hunting lol |
