Hmm intresting Ive notice putting 91 on my 1990 GT and it seems it gets less mpg . I usually pump 89 Oct from Mobil. I dont knoe if my gt needs to use 87 Oct. If so how high are the risk of getting engine knocks

Here in the NW we only have 91 octane... 93 is plenty. Anything above 93 and your getting into race gas which doesn't do anything for our engines without a properly tuned ECU.
