Is that proof or an opinion? Mine's auto and I use Mobil 1 synthetic... but I know people that use it in their manual trannies as well and are happy with the results.

Which type of redline is recommended. Because someone said shockproof lightweight was the best to protect gears, but is it ok to put in stock celicas? Which type of redline is the best?

I think he means actual tranny oil, not engine oil.

Well, I guess I was right about a product, even though I wasn't sure. I thought it was engine oil, I didn't read carefully, which I hardly ever do.

I use mobil 1 for the engine... but as far as the tranny, the dealer puts toyota's stuff in there. I guess I'll ask them about something better next time They'll put whatever I want in there... I guess I should look into it.

Pros, cons anyone?

Do you have to go to the Toyota dealership to get the transmission fluid changed?
