Alarm fob and key - Toyota Celicas

When I bought my car it only came with one alarm fob and key, I have seen a second hand fob on Ebay with same serial number as my current one, can it be reprogrammed to work on my car and is it something I can do myself. Also is it possible for a locksmith to cut an ignition key ? Thanks.

yeah i bought one off ebay cuz my og key fob broke off and i lost it
the key fob came with instructions on how to reprogram it! super easy!

The one Ive seen on Ebay does not have instructions, guess I need to try and find some before I buy.

check the info with the key fob most of them actually send instructions on how to reprogram or email them and ask if they can provide them.

I did check, they dont know how to do it ! Ive found a few different ways on the net of reprogramming them but no idea if they will work !

Unfortunately it didnt work my alarm is a tvssiiib an have been told need to take the module out from behind the dash to reprogramme it.
