Exclamation 6th gen celica auto to manual swap

I have a 99 celica gt and its automatic and I'm going to convert it to a manual. I dont want to hear people saying why not just buy a manual car I want to convert it but I have no idea what parts I will need or where to buy them. I just want a list of the OEM parts I need to buy and where to order them so when I get started on this I'm not left scratching my head

The first part you need is a standard transmission car, usually can be had in a trade for your auto car and some cash.

The price of a ECU, tranny, and sometimes standard tranny front clip cost more than just buying a standard tranny GT trim car.
Keep in mind you are fabricating a pedal and mount into the area under the dash meaning you are pulling the dash and wiring out of there just to put a pedal in.

These cars aren't uber expensive, it will cost more in labor and parts to convert auto ---> standard than to sell an auto car and buy a standard tranny car

if possible buy a 5 speed parts car that way you have everything. buying everything separate would take a while and be a lot more expensive. some stuff you'll have to buy at a dealer and some stuff you can find online. go to a junkyard, look for cars being parted out in your area or online. join other forums. ebay is always good too.

heres a list. good luck

Manual Transmission
Shifter
Shift Cables
Flywheel
Clutch Master Cylinder
Slave Cylinder
New Clutch
Clutch Metal Fluid Lines
Rubber Clutch Line
Flywheel Bolts
Pressure Plate Bolts
Clutch Pedal Assembly
Manual Brake Pedal
Transmission Fluid (75W90 or 80W90)
Brake Fluid for Clutch
Manual Transmission Driver's Side Mount
Manual Starter Relay
2 bolts for Tranny - 12 by 1.25 (1 is 65mm other is 75mm)
Manual ECU
