Default Window motors interchangeable?

I'm trying to get my driver-side quarter window working again. I took the whole thing apart, put 12V on the motor and saw no movement. Looks like I need a new motor... I saw a motor in the hard to find section here up for $150, but found a number of similar ones on ebay for much less. However, the don't seem to be an exact serial number match. Is there any reason a front motor wouldn't work in the back? Or a camry motor wouldn't work? The one I want to get is this:

1984-2004 Celica Corolla Tacoma Camry Front/Rear Left Driver Window Motor Lift | eBay

Seems to me like a good match.. The gear teeth look the same, the connector shouldn't be an issue.. Any reason to spend more than $55 on this?

I'm guessing this may not be the best researched/documented topic, but I'm hoping someone has some feedback on this.

I used this guide:

How to Fix the Rear Convertible Window. - 6G Celicas Forums

My actual window was already taken out by a previous owner, so I'm not sure how much more complicated it is with the window in, but the overall procedure wasn't that complicated. It did take a while because I was trying to be extra careful (which I would highly recommend, since it's easy to start losing stuff), but I'd say it's probably half an hour of work the second time around.

I replaced my passenger rear window motor with help from the instructions above. The only problem is that you have no room to work. I have a perfectly good motor for sale if you are interested. I had to go to Ohio to find one and I live in Minnesota.
