Default Clutch time

Hey all. I have a 94 Celica 1.8L. That time has come to replace the clutch. 4th and 5th are starting to slip. I've done clutches before... MANY years ago... so I am looking for any tips/tricks/help anyone has to offer. Maybe other items I should replace while I have the tranny out? special tools you found to work well? Any help will be appreciated. I will be working on it this Saturday. Thanks in advance!

Resurface the fly wheel, replace throwout bearing, a full transmission flush. You need a alignment tool also.

You should have around 14 volts if the bat is good.sounds like you missed something when putting it all back together.

Ok, got it... the wire going from the battery to the main fuse box was broken. no voltage when I checked the main 60A fuse. reconnected and good to go.... but note to everyone... REPLACE YOUR AXLE SEALS WHEN DOING A CLUTCH JOB!!!!! I am leaking trans fluid like crazy now and have to pull the axles to replace the seals. Would have been a 5 minute job when the tranny was on the ground.. now I have to pull apart the suspension again. Can you say DUMBASS!!
