Question difficult to shift gears

i have a 1994 gt 5 speed. it was drivin fine, i parked it, then when i went to drive again it is extremely difficult to put into gear. i changed the trans fluid to no avail, and it shifts into all gears fine if it isn't running. i can drive it still but shifting is incredibly difficult unless i use rpm matching. we are nearly positive that it isn't the clutch, and the master and slave cylinders don't seem to be leaking. also, when sitting still in neutral with clutch in and no brakes, if you barely push the shifter in a forward or the reverse , the car moves respectively ( the cAR IS COMPLETELY IN NEUTRAL THOUGH, NO GRINDING) how is that possible? thanks

Do you leave it in gear when you park it? I had the same problem with mine after I left it in 1st gear on a very slight incline for 2 nights. I had a very hard time getting from neutral to first. After about 10 miles the issue went away.

its the clutch. its not disengaging. its possible that one of the springs on the disk broke. but i have seen this countless times. time for a new clutch.

I highly suggest the Southbend TZ and a fidanza flywheel combination

What you have there sir is bad linkages or worn locking rings, it has nothing to do with broken torsion springs or broken clutch discs. drop your pan and look at the tranny fluid, if its littered with metal shavings theres your culprit. You're most likely looking at a new transmission.
