Hi everyone, first time posting here.
![]() I tried the search feature but couldn't find a match. Maybe i am using the wrong name for the part, but my 1995 celica's shift indicator light doesn't work anymore, the light where it would illuminate the PRND12 on the shifter. Could it be a bulb underneath that is dead? Does anyone know if this is easy to get to? I have the Chilton and Haynes manuals, and only the Haynes has instructions close enough on how to remove the center console where the shifter is, but doesn't mention a light bulb. I hope someone can help me out. Thanks!! |

its a light in the center console, you just have to find it and replace it. Chiltons and Haynes manuals SUCK BALLS, you need to get the BGB from toyota for real details on how to and where stuff is.
you could also join techinfo.toyota.com for 1 day, its 15 bucks and then you can download all the manuals. |

I think the part you need is called "position indicator lens" Toyota part# 35952-20010 (#35952 on the chart below). This part and the slide cover part (#35975 on the chart, Toyota part# 35975-20150) on my car broke too. Could sb shed light on how hard it is to replace them? One of the mechanics told me that I had to take the whole transmission out to put those parts in? Did he tried to scare me off?
