should be easy. just make sure you have all the right tools and maybe someone to help out doesn't hurt.

Remove axel nutt. Remove two bolts on the strut allow the spindle to be worked out of place .Two bolts hold the support into place remove thos. Pull axel out once out there's a snap ring that keeps the mid bearing in place tap the bracket off with a hammer and transplant onto new shaft. And install

passenger side is easy. first time i did it. the thing took me along time. ive done it twice when i had my celica. the second time took me about 15 to 30 min. the hardest part is going to be removing the mid support off the old axel. there is a snap ring in it, i didnt need any pry bars or anything like that. you also dont need a press to press it off or on. just tap it with a hammer once you got the snap ring out. make sure to tap it evenly on both sides.

yeah i didnt notice it either. i did mine when i was still new to the game. took me a week and arguing with autozone and napa that i got the wrong CV. finally took it to a shop to have the bearing pressed off and they realized it had a snap ring. it was just covered in road grime so you couldnt see it. after that the bearing was easily tapped out.
