Default Exel's Official 1993 Toyota Celica ST Project Thread

Hey everyone, so.. pretty excited to have my car running again after that little mess a few days ago where my car didn't want to start.

I decided to start making a build thread where I'll post pictures of things I've been doing to the car and whatnot.

A little history on the car:

I originally purchased it with 147k miles, little did I know the engine was going bad, around 150k miles, my engine died. Had a spun rod.

Long story short, she now has a 5A-FE with 30k miles!

First, let's start with the old engine:

Here is the new one right when it barely got finished being put in:

This is me and by bud a few days later lowering my mileage down. (I don't know why, but I couldn't stand it not reading correctly - knowing it doesn't have 150k miles anymore)

Then I installed two short-ram intakes, did it from parts I had laying around.

Version 1:

It was just a straight pipe, didn't really like it, was shaky, too, had no support.

Version 2:

I like it better, secured, too! Doesn't move at all.

Girlfriend convinced me to get these seat covers, not sure how I feel about them yet:

Pending pictures:

- Shift boot
- Radio, sub & amp installation

And here she is from the outside:

Uhm, it wasn't even fast. I was just driving casually. It was strange. Fortunately, junkyard was like $26 for it.
