Default 93 Celica - 130k miles - Spun rod

Unfortunately, it was too late to save. Only had 150k miles in it, too. /:

"New" used engine is ready to be put on, has 30k miles.

I love my Celica, I hope I can get to driving it again sometime this week.
I've been using my father's truck, god, it's such a gas waster.

In other news, what other things would you guys replace since the engine is coming out?

Do all your seals, had my engine swapped and had the main seal, cam seal, rear seal, timing belt and water pump as well as the tensioner changed. I also replaced the intake manifold gasket, throttle body gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, I should of done the head gasket but got too lazy.

That sounds like a good idea, although my clutch still feels pretty **** good.

How much did that all cost you? Timing belt is definitively getting replaced.

Yeah, that's a good idea.

Hopefully once I get it back up and running I'll start saving up for a paint job and some other stuff.

Short Ram Air Intake is going to get put on as well, been building one myself, have all the parts ready for it.

I'll post some pictures up.

Engine that's going to get put in:

Here's what my Celica looks like, by the way.

Needs new rims. >.< Don't like chrome.

I need to paint mine and replace the driver fender. I like the lip those rims have but the chrome fakes and causes tires to leak.

Yeah, I need to replace both fenders, I believe. Both have like one little ding like if someone punched them really hard, lol.

Anyway, yeah, those rims just aren't for me, they're 17s so they rub a little, too. Might need to get 16s.

Also need a bumper, it has a missing piece like if someone bit it off, ha.

How much do paint jobs go for now-and-days?
